At this year's demopark trade fair, a selected jury of experts once again awarded prizes to outstanding and groundbreaking products. Around 50 exciting innovation ideas competed for the coveted innovation medals. Among the five gold medal winners was the new Z6 zero-turn lawn mower from battery specialist EGO. In addition to the numerous innovations included in the new ride-on mower, the jury was impressed by the fact that the Z6 is the world's first ride-on mower with a cross-platform interchangeable battery system. The mower can accommodate up to six Arc Lithium batteries, and the batteries used are the same ones that power other EGO products such as hedge trimmers and brush cutters.
Furthermore, EGO is also pleased about the gold medal award for the new battery-powered high grass mowers from AS-Motor (AS 21 All-Mower, AS 62 All-Mower and AS 63 All-Mower) - after all, AS-Motor uses the newly developed EGO Power Unit as the drive, which draws its energy from the powerful EGO 56V ARC lithium batteries.
